KS1 Cricket Team Finish 7th at County Finals.

On 9th July, our KS1 cricket team travelled to Ashford to participate in the Kent Schools’ Games Final for rapid fire cricket. It was a excellent all day event with eleven schools taking part in one large round robin group.  The majority of our matches proved to be very close; on all but one occasion, no more than 3 runs separated us from our opposition. In the end we won 3 matches, drew 3 matches and lost the other 4 matches and finished the overall competition in 7th place.

It was a fantastic team effort from all our players; well done to Noah, Oscar, Issac S, Lucy, Amira, Marie, Jaylan, Bertie, Dylan and Logan.

Congratulations to Isaac S who received a “Magic Moment” medal from Kent County Cricket Club for the commitment and effort he displayed in all the matches.

Also, thank you to all our parents who helped with the transport and so enthusiastically supported our players.
