Year 5 Rippledown Adventure

Our Year 5 children recently enjoyed an overnight stay at Rippledown Environmental Centre.

There was a variety of team building activities throughout the first day, which the children enjoyed. In the evening, Mrs Brown visited and everyone enjoyed drinking hot chocolate and toasting marshmallows, along with a good sing song around the camp fire!

The next day, the children walked to Ringwould Church. Did you know the building is over 850 years old? The class then rambled along to Oxney Woods, where they enjoyed a picnic and playing amongst the trees. There was some tired legs and feet after over 4 miles of walking, and the children were glad to get back to Rippledown, however ‘what fun they had’!
