Dover School Games Athletics Competition 

A big well done to year 5&6 for taking part in the annual Dover School Games Athletics Competition that was held at Dover Leisure Centre on Friday 8th December.

Despite having a  low number of children compared to the other schools; Beau, Jasmin, Tommy, McKenzie and Harry in Year 5, and James, Aggi, Kaitlin, Libby, Charlie, Olivia, Noel, Kai, Ashton, George S , Nicholas and  Marcus in Year 6, all put in a fantastic performance in their respective sporting events they took part in  (Javelin, Speed bounce, Standing long jump, triple Jump, X6 paraluf relays to name a few).

After all the events were completed we came away finishing in 3rd Place, only 17 points behind the eventual  winners which is a huge improvement from last years results.

Again, a very big well done to all those who took part,  you all stepped up and worked extremely hard as a team and showed great sportsmanship.

I’m very proud of you all.

Also, many thanks to all the parents who helped with transport and their support during the competition.
