Year 6 Choir bring Christmas cheer to Deal Hospital

On Monday 18th December Mrs Spencer and the children from our Year 6 choir were invited by Mrs Maureen Bane, President of the Friends of Deal Hospital to sing carols to patients and visitors. Rev Flewker from St Leonards Church led the service with Christmas readings and prayers, and the choir sang an array of Christmas carols, as well as playing the handbells. The Deputy Mayor, Councillor Nicholas Tomaszewski and his Deputy Mayoress, Mrs Muriel Tomaszewski (pictured below), joined the children, patients and staff in singing carols and enjoying some Christmas cheer.

Mrs Spencer said ” It was an absolute delight taking the Yr 6 Choir: Olivia, Kaitlin, Libby, Ellie, Hannah, William, George and Kai to Deal Hospital; I  was very proud of the children and their singing was enjoyed by all”.
