Girls’ Football: Deal Parochial 0 Sandown 0

This was a close match with lots of effort and commitment on show from all the players.

The first half was very even with both teams creating half chances. In particular for us, Ruby played an inspired lob from outside of the penalty area which dipped just beyond Sandown’s crossbar.

We created many more half chances in the second half, as our midfield quartet of Aggie, Ellie, Kaitlin and Ruby became more influential in the game. However, unfortunately, we just could not convert any of our chances.

It was great to see such competitive play and sportsmanship throughout the match.  Special well done to Grace, Katy-Jane and Millie, who all made their debuts for the team.
