Wonderful Tennis Day Out at Wimbledon Championships

After being lucky in the Schools’ Wimbledon Ballot earlier this year, we were able to take 7 of our keen, young tennis players to Wimbledon on Tuesday 10th July. Every aspect of the day was great, including having wonderful weather.
We had fantastic seats on Court No. 2, where we saw the thrilling conclusion of the del Potro vs Simon match, as well as Nielsen and Salisbury play in their Mens’ Doubles Quarter Final match.
The children really enjoyed participating in the ‘Play Tennis’
Zone.
The children were also delighted to meet some tennis players and get their autographs. We met former British Number 1 and current British Fed Cup Captain, Anne Keothavong, and then later, just before leaving Wimbledon, we met Frederik Nielsen and his British Partner, Joe Salisbury, after they had just won their Quarter Final.  It was a brilliant way to round off our day!
