Deal Parochial wins County Tennis Award for Education for 2018

At Kent Tennis’ Annual Awards Dinner on Saturday 2nd March 2019, our school received the County Tennis Award for Education for the second year running.

Mrs Hodgson, Mr Earl, Mrs Brown, Daniel Hodgson, Liam from Y5 (who had also been shortlisted for the County’s ‘Young Person of the Year’ Award) and Deal Indoor Tennis Centre’s (DITC’s) Coach, Toby Churchill (who had been shortlisted for ‘Coach of the Year’ as well), were all thrilled to collect the Education Award on behalf of Deal Parochial. Like last year, it was lovely that this Award was presented to us by Kent LTA President, Vanessa Webb (who we know so well as the Tennis Coordinator at DITC).

The school will now represent Kent at the Regional LTA’s Tennis Awards.
