Runner-Up Spot for Deal Parochial in County Tennis Team Tournament.

We took two teams to the Bromley Tennis Centre yesterday for the Kent LTA’s Primary Schools’ Sponge Ball Tennis Team Tournament.

Our first team (Bobby Y4 with his brother Noah Y2, together with Liam Y3 and Artie Y3) played excellently and won all four rounds in their box to claim their place in the Final.

Our second team (Jamie, Nathan, Harley and Tyler – all Y3) played very well too, especially considering this was a new experience for them all, as none of them had played in a county tournament before.

Bobby, Noah, Liam and Artie competed valiantly in the Final against the other round robin box winners. There were many fantastic rallies and shots, but unfortunately it wasn’t to be, and the boys finished as runners-up.

Well done boys – I was very proud of you all.
