STEM Workshop in London.
Oscar, Ruby and Isabelle from Year 2, and Kian, Amelia and Isla from Year 3, travelled to London with Mrs Porteous and Mrs Hodgson on Monday 8th July, in order to participate in the Hitachi STEM workshop at the Institute of Engineering and Technology.
These children took their trains, which they had built in class, and tested them in several challenges against trains from other schools.
The Year 3’s train excelled in keeping a straight line whilst moving forward!
The Year 2’s train was close to stopping on its station.
The children also confidently spoke to several judges about their train designs.
The children thoroughly enjoyed their day and were great ambassadors for our school.
