Christingle 2019

On 18th December, Year 3 led our Christingle Service. The children in Year 3 lit Christingles during our collective worship ‘Far From Home.’ They spoke about the Christmas story and the birth of the Prince of Peace and explained how Christian Aid is working towards bringing peace to refugees around the world who have suffered from the effects of war, conflict and natural disasters . We sang carols and prayers were said for our school, our community and for those around the world less fortunate than ourselves. Our thoughts are with you all at this time of year.
