Inter-Team Tennis Tournament 2020.

Our Inter-Team Tennis Tournament for 2020 took place on Tuesday 4th February at Deal Indoor Tennis Centre. 32 children represented their school team in both doubles and singles matches; this involved them using one of three different ball types (sponge ball, orange ball, or green ball) dependent on their tennis experience.

The tournament proved to be very evenly contested, with lots of excellent tennis on show from all the teams; there was just 10 points separating the final scores of all four teams: Yellow team = 60 points, Red team = 62 points, Green team = 64 points, Blue team = 70 points.

Many congratulations to Blue team who were our Inter-Team Tennis Champions for 2020.

Also, thank you to our pupil helpers, Abi and Ruby (Y6), Bobby (Y5) and Amelia (Y4), and all the wonderful parents who helped with the walk to the tennis centre, as well as scoring matches. – We could not have run such a successful Inter-Team Tennis Tournament without your valuable help. Thank you.
