Year 2 Tennis at Bromley

On Saturday 12th June, Casper, Jasper, Jack and Imogen, made their first ever long journey to the Bromley Tennis Centre for the school.  They went to represent us in the 8U Kent section of the National Junior Summer Tennis League. We were in Division C and played against three tennis clubs from David Lloyd Kingshill, Hollybush (Near Sevenoaks) and Sevenoaks. All our players rose to the occasion and played better and better as the afternoon progressed and they grew in confidence.  All 4 of our players thoroughly enjoyed their afternoon of tennis (- as Casper said mid-tournament: “It’s awesome”) and I was delighted that the team did win some matches, which their fantastic shots and rallies deserved.

 

Well done Casper, Jasper, Jack and Imogen; your tennis, commitment and sportsmanship were a credit to our school.
