World Mental Health Day
Dear Parents & Carers,
Friday 9th October is World Mental Health Day.
As a school, we have signed up to #HelloYellow to support Young Minds. By getting involved, we can help raise much needed funds and help to show young people they’re not alone with their mental health.
We would like everyone to come in to school on the day wearing yellow. This could be just an small item or accessory or your entire outfit. We do ask that there is no sprayed hair or other make-up.
We are asking, if possible, for a minimum voluntary donation of £1 per family, but if you feel you can give more then please feel free to do so. We would like everyone to join in, even if you are unable to donate at this time. The day is as much about awareness as it it the fundraising.
This year we have a JustGiving page to try and minimise cash donations: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/deal-parochial-school but you can of course still send in cash if you’d prefer.
If you have any questions about the charity and its work, more information is available from youngminds.org.uk
Thank you.

Secondary Transfer Information Guidance

As advised by the government we will do all we can to stay open for key workers and children with certain needs. If you think that your child is eligible to continue to attend school and fits the applicable criteria, please fill in the form below: The school day will run within the usual times. (0800 – 1500)
Should there be two parents that live at home with a child/ren, it would be expected that a parent not considered to be a key worker would need to remain at home to look after their child/ren, to enable the school to continue to minimise the number of pupils needing to be accommodated in order to reduce the risk.
