Keeping Children Safe in Education 2022

Our Ethos

Our school is a community and all those directly connected (staff, governors, parents, families and pupils) have an essential role to play in making it safe and secure. Safeguarding is given the highest priority, and all measures possible are taken to keep staff, children and the community safe.  We welcome suggestions and comments that will contribute to this process. Deal Parochial C.E. School recognises the importance of providing an ethos and environment within school that will help children to feel safe, secure and respected; encourage them to talk openly; and enable them to feel confident that they will be listened to.

Should you have any safeguarding concerns about your family’s well being we encourage you to phone us at school and have a chat.

We are here to help and also have a number of links to other agencies who also may be able to provide a focus of support in a time of need.

Our support comes without judgement. We just want to HELP you in a time of need.
