French Open Team Challenge – Family Tennis Tournament.

We concluded our Y1-3 After-School Tennis Club for this term by holding a French Open Team Challenge Tennis Tournament for our young players and their families.

Ten children took part and learnt that The French Open Tennis Tournament takes place in France during May and June and is the French equivalent of our Wimbledon.

In between all the French themed tennis activities, there were lots of quiz questions ranging from French food, to the French Flag and the Eiffel Tower.  Children were also excited by the appearance of Remy the French Rat (from the movie, Ratatouille), who managed to sit on Mrs Hodgson’s shoulder throughout the tennis activities!

Great fun was had by all.  Many thanks to all the parents and the grandparent who took part.
