3-0 Winning Start to The League for Girls’ Football Team.

Last Tuesday, our girls’ football team played at Deal Parochial against St Mary’s, Deal, in the league.

The first half proved very even between the two sides and finished scoreless at half-time. However, come the second half, our girls played a more expansive game. Consequently, we started to make clear cut chances, and it wasn’t long before both Willow and Savanna scored. Our third goal came from a well struck shot from Zavanna from the edge of the area; the shot hit the goal post and rolled along the line with Erin following up and tapping the ball home before any goal line clearance could be made.

Well done girls on your 3-0 win. I was very proud of your excellent sportsmanship, commitment and team spirit throughout the match.
