Wimbledon 2024
Seven of our enthusiastic tennis players enjoyed a fantastic day out at Wimbledon on Saturday 13th July.
A tour of the iconic grounds was followed by watching some excellent tennis in the Quad Doubles Wheelchair Final on Number 3 court. Afterwards we met a couple of the finalists, including British player, Andy Lapthorne.
Other highlights of our trip included watching a very entertaining Veterans’ match on Number 1 court, eating strawberries and cream in the LTA Advantage Lounge, seeing the new Women’s Wimbledon Champion on the balcony with her trophy, visiting the Wimbledon shop and enjoying the activities in the Fan Zone.
