After-School Science Clubs

This week saw the completion of our after-school science clubs for 2023/2024.

In term 2, we ran a science club that investigated the science behind bottle flipping.

In term 3, Years 4 – 6  Science Club learnt about density and then recycled plastic bags into a tough plastic fabric, which they made into wallets.

In term 4, our younger scientists in years 1 – 3 had lots of fun.  They learnt about air pressure by unravelling toilet rolls with leaf blowers, they built composite sandcastles which they could stand on, and there was much excitement as they let off soda geysers on the playground.
