School Wimbledon Trip 2022

On 4th July, Deal Parochial took a group of our keen Y5 and Y6 tennis players on the train to the Wimbledon Tennis Championships for the day.

We had brilliant tickets (through the schools’ Wimbledon ballot) for No.1 court. As well as watching some fantastic tennis and making the obligatory visit to the souvenir shop, the children really enjoyed exploring the grounds where they were thrilled to meet Rafael Nadal. It was truly a wonderful day at Wimbledon!
